This week marked a significant milestone with the announcement of a strategic partnership between SGS x The Lab (Asia) Limited and Hilti HK. This collaboration aims to enhance quality testing standards across all projects. The momentous signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by Mr. Simon Yan, General Manager of The Lab (Asia) Limited’s Greater Bay Area Building & Infrastructure division, and Ir Michael Leung, General Manager of Hilti HK, paves the way for comprehensive quality assurance solutions with various testing and related services. Together, these initiatives will establish new benchmarks for industry standards.

Additionally, we hosted a Future Ready Discussion on Quality Assurance in the Greater Bay Area Development Landscape. We were honored to have our Senior Manager, Head of Engineering and Innovation at The Lab, Ir Serena Lee, alongside Ir Ole Wong, Ir TK Yuen, and Mr. @Ricky Yau, share their insights on Hong Kong’s robust quality assurance practices and their influence on the rapid development of the Greater Bay Area. They also provided valuable guidance for young engineers looking to seize opportunities in this dynamic region.
