The contract, signed with BUCG and CCCL, a joint venture (JV) known for its commitment to quality and excellence, establishes a long-term partnership for comprehensive construction testing services for the HKIA Third Runway Concourse and Apron Works. The Lab (Asia) provides a wide range of testing and inspection services, including construction material quality, monitoring and consultation services.

Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd (BUCG) is the leading enterprise of Beijing city construction industry. To improve the industry competitiveness in Hong Kong local market, Beijing Urban Construction Group Co, Ltd (“BUCG”) entered into a joint venture agreement with Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited (“CCCL”) on 31 August 2020 and collaborated for tendering of a local large-scale project in Hong Kong. On 3 November 2020, the BUCG-CCCL Joint Venture was awarded the Contract 3408-Third Runway Concourse and Apron works of the Hong Kong International Airport and became the executive company for the “Hong Kong International Airport Third Runway Concourse and Apron works” Project.
