PROJECT REFERENCE

In 2018, TLA has been appointed by the main contractor, China Road & Bridge Corporation for public work NE/2017/07 Cross Bay Link, Tseung Kwan O – Main Bridge and Associated Works, to provide testing services in China Mainland and Hong Kong. Cross Bay Link (CBL) is designed to connect Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel (TKO–LTT) to provide an alternative access route to the south-eastern part of TKO, so as to cope with the anticipated traffic demand in TKO.

Our testing works included but were not limited to non-destructive-testing (NDT) of welds, physical and chemical testing for vitrified clay pipe, stainless steel, bolts, screws and studs. These test items were crucial for quality control of the materials, as well as safe guarding the health of the bridge structure.
