Pipe and Fitting

The Lab provides both on-site and off-site inspection services for Pipe and Fitting Test, such as Concrete Pipes, Metallic and Plastic Pipes, including highly qualified level 2 or level 3 inspectors on Steel and PE Pipes, uPVC Pipe, Pipe Fitting, and Gate Valves. Inspection technologies and techniques include dimensional checking, hydrostatic pressure test verification, and coating test verification as well as a critical review of the manufacturer’s quality documentation, production facilities, and equipment. We possess extensive experience in pipeline inspections and have been the quality service provider for many projects throughout the region.

We are one of the regional laboratories to achieve HOKLAS accreditation for several large-scale tests on PE pipes, including the ‘Determination of Resistance to Rapid Crack Propagation (RCP)’ and the ‘Determination of Resistance to Crack Propagation – Slow Crack Growth.’ As well as HOKLAS accreditation Test for other Concrete Pipe and uPVC Pipe. We also conduct one-of-a-kind testing when required, for example, cyclic testing for the failure of consumer products, or burst testing of pressure vessels and fittings.
