TLA services are accredited by Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO/IEC 17020:2012 respectively.
Case 1 - Binary statement with simple acceptance rule of ILAC-G8:09/2019 will be defaulted to be used as decision rule for acceptance requirement for quantitive test as applicable unless customer specified. (Probability of False Acceptance < 50%);
Case 2 - Binary statement with guard band (w=U, where U = 95% expanded MU) of ILAC-G8:09/2019 (Probability of False Acceptance < 2.5%);
Case 3 - Conformity decision rule is not applicable when measurand is a qualitative test or no statement of conformity is reported (no specification or compliance acceptance is given);
Case 4 - Applicable standard that includes decision process when the standard test methods already have a guard band built-in to the limit, further guard banding to limit risk is not necessary.
